XT-Nova – NORCAL Series Redux 30th Anniversary XT-Nova –175 grams (3026)

Celebrating the 30-year Anniversary of the NorCal Series.

Original 1991 design for the inaugural NorCal Series by Michele Cozzens (and reprised by Leonard Muise). Along with their good buddy, Leonard, Mike and Michele came up with the idea for the NorCal Series and ran the Caldecott Open at Berkeley Aquatic Park and Moraga Commons (named for the Caldecott Tunnel that connected the two parks) to kick it off.

The series caused an explosion of participation in tournaments held throughout the northern half of the state–from DeLaveaga in Santa Cruz to one of Ed Headrick’s originals at Highland Springs–attracting golfers from throughout California. We received ENORMOUS support from our SoCal friends and through this series, made lifelong friendships with golfers from all over.

The XT (Xtra Tough) Pro Nova is a unique putter and approach disc designed with over-mold technology. The flight plate is made from a firm Pro material that’s fused to a grippy putter Pro plastic rim. The soft rim absorbs impact and sticks the landing while the firm flight plate allows for powerful throws making the Nova excellent for accurate approach shots with NO SKIP stops.
